Mission

Working towards a brighter future for Pit Bulls by rescuing them from shelters & dangerous/unhealthy situations & placing them in approved foster homes where they get the socialization, vetting & training needed to ensure successful adoptive home placement. We will also educate the public in regards to true temperament of the Pit Bull types & the owners’ responsibilities to their furry family members to keep them properly socialized and trained, providing referrals & advice when needed in hopes of changing the perception of our beloved Pit Bulls.

Honey is taking a break from her St. Patrick's Day shenanigans to show you the daily auction item for the event! Look at this beautiful accent pillow - and as Honey would say " Pitties go with everything". Remember to purchase your tickets for the Baltimore show at www.standupforpits.us. Knick Knack Pittie Pack will have a huge silent auction with some one of a kind items to bid on that evening. We will be showcasing an auction item or two each day until the day of the event - check back in tomorrow to see the next item. This week we want to share Bo with you as KKPP Pup of the Week!

Meet Bo, a young male who has been let down by nearly everyone in his young life. He was saved from a life of abuse and starvation by a Good Samaritan, but they did not have the experience needed to help Bo recover from his horrible past, so we stepped in to help him.

Bo is a reserved boy and he is very male selective, his original “owner” being a man who abused him.

Bo has a giant, loving heart, he really deserves a chance at life, but he needs someone experienced in dealing with traumatized dogs, willing to build up his trust, confidence, and help him heal through gentle, positive teaching. Bo has come a long way since joining the KKPP family, and he loves to hang with people he knows and trusts. He is the sweetest soul!

Because of his horrible past and food aggression, we ask he be an only dog, go to a home without young children, and possibly a home without a male, or at least have meetings with Bo before adopting him since he is male selective and fearful.

Are you Bo’s saint and salvation? Are you the person just waiting to love, bond, and help Bo heal?

We have said it before, but we are going to say it again - we have THE BEST supporters! When Zumba instructor, Linda Asper reached out to us with an event idea we were so excited. Linda along with the help of fellow instructors, opened Studio Z Cardio Fitness Club for a day filled with Zumba to benefit our rescue pups. A huge thank you to Linda, the instructors, sponsors, and supporters. With all of your help this event raised close to $2000!! We had so much fun and look forward to another event like this in the future! Check out the article written about this event in the Shippensburg News Chronicle.
